Your assessment answers stay in your browser. We ask for your email to send your report. We never sell your data and never share your answers with anyone. We do use Google's ad-conversion measurement to see which ads bring people here — section 08 explains it.
What we collect
- Email address
- When you join the waitlist, take the assessment, or unlock a report. Used for your report copy, your receipts, renewal reminders, reminders about a report you have not unlocked (every one has a one-click stop link), and one launch email.
- Answers
- Stored locally in your browser (localStorage) on your device. Not uploaded to our servers.
- Payment
- Handled entirely by Stripe. We receive a confirmation and the last 4 digits — never your full card number.
What we never do
We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not show you ads. We use Google Ads conversion measurement, which tells Google when an ad click leads to a visit or a purchase; that is the only data any ad network receives, and it never includes your answers, scores, or safety plans. Those we never share with anyone — including caregivers — unless you explicitly turn sharing on, item by item.
Legal bases
Where GDPR or similar laws apply: we process your email under contract (delivering what you bought) and consent (the waitlist). You can withdraw consent at any time.
Processors we use
Stripe (payments) and Resend (report delivery and receipts). Both are bound by their own privacy commitments and process data only on our instructions.
Retention
We keep your email until you ask us to delete it or unsubscribe. Local assessment data stays on your device until you clear it — the "Retake from the beginning" button, or clearing browser storage, removes it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or export it. Email support@autismally.co — we respond within 30 days, usually much faster.
Children
Autismally is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. Caregiver accounts are designed so the adult holds the email relationship.
Cookies and local storage
Google Ads sets cookies to measure whether an ad click led to a purchase (conversion measurement); they carry no assessment data. Aside from that, we use browser localStorage for exactly three things, all kept on your device:
Security
All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS). Payment data is handled by Stripe under PCI-DSS. If a breach ever affects your data, we will notify you directly and promptly.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we email you first and summarize what changed. The revision code above always reflects the current version.
